Objectives of the Course

0-6 years of infancy and early childhood children; To be able to evaluate social-emotional, cognitive, motor, language and self-care developments, to prepare and implement a full-day development support program to support their development.

Course Content

The course content includes practices to recognize the features of developmental support programs for 0-6 year-old infancy and early childhood children, to develop a support program, to implement it in the institution, and to suggest programs that support home development. Within the scope of these applications, students can also participate in drama, art, music, gymnastics, science and mathematics, language activities etc. in accordance with the age group. They are expected to prepare and implement programs that support children's development, and develop games and game materials using types of activities.

Learning Outcomes
1.Using developmental assessment tools, students evaluate the development of 0-6 year old infancy and early childhood children and list their developmental characteristics.
2.Determines the educational objectives in line with the developmental needs of the group.
3.It prepares programs that support cognitive development, language development, motor development, self-care development and social emotional development in line with the needs of children aged 0-6 years in infancy and early childhood.
4.It implements programs that support cognitive development, language development, motor development, self-care development and social emotional development in accordance with the needs of children aged 0-6 years in infancy and early childhood.
5.It evaluates the applied developmental support programs and reports the documents.
6.They prepare game and play materials for children in infancy and early childhood ages 0-6.
7.It fits professional ethics.
8.Demonstrate effective communication skills with children and institution staff during the practices.
