Objectives of the Course

It is aimed for students to; know child health and diseases at prenatal, neonatal, childhood periods.

Course Content

Basic concepts and indicators related to children's health, nutrition, hygene, sanitation, factors affecting children's health, Turkey and in the world of children's health, physiological characteristics of the newborn and common diseases, premature, birthweight and intrauterine growth retardation, immune system and vaccines, 0-18 years period common diseases, infectious diseases and respiratory tract infections, gastrointestinal system infections and parasitic diseases, allergic diseases, anemias
