The purposes of this course are to explain the definition of sound, to recognize and interpret the properties of Turkish language, to gain sensitivity accurate and effective use of Turkish and to have the qualifications which a good speaker should have.

Differences between oral and written expression, a speaker's voice, expressions and pronunciation, conversation, speech addressed to a community,planning of speech, characteristics of good speech, types of oratory, the speaker's gestures andmimics, stress, intonation, what are speech defects?
