Objectives of the Course

The main purpose of this course is to provide students having a general information and prediction about economic history; expressing the events, transformations, structures and economic systems and making interpretations.

The beginning, borning and development of economic history, the revolution of agriculture, first age economics, the economic thought at the middle age of Europe, the economic structure of Islamic state at the middle age, mercantilism…

Learning Outcomes
1.Explains the beginning date of economic history.
2.Expresses the agricultural revolution, its results and the theories to explain the revolution.
3.Makes interpret endings on the World economy and European economy at the firs and middle ages.
4.Makes interpretations regarding economic thought in the firs and middle ages.
5.Makes interpretation on the change in European balance of economic power and the industrial revolution.
6.Explains the contributions made by Mercantilist, Physiocratics, Classicals, Neo-Classicals and Keynesians to the economic literature.
