The aim of this course is to teach students the historical development, fundamental rules, equipment, and practical techniques of Traditional Turkish Archery, to improve basic shooting skills, and to develop an awareness of sports ethics and cultural heritage.

This course includes the history, basic concepts, and cultural importance of Traditional Turkish Archery; introduction and use of archery equipment; basic stance, grip, and shooting techniques; safety rules; target shooting practices; individual performance development activities; competition rules; fair play, and sports ethics.
