Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to develop students' abilities to design, implement, and evaluate exercise and training programs for various performance goals. The course covers performance preparation, mobility and flexibility applications, principles of resistance training program design, planning strength and hypertrophy training for athletes, proper techniques for free-weight and machine-based exercises, and the design of plyometric, speed, agility, aerobic endurance, and metabolic conditioning programs. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to develop safe and effective training programs based on scientific and evidence-based principles for a variety of performance objectives.

Course Content

This course covers the theoretical and practical principles of performance preparation, mobility and flexibility training, resistance training program design, strength and hypertrophy training for athletes, application techniques of free-weight and machine-based exercises, plyometric training, speed and agility development methods, and the design of aerobic endurance and metabolic conditioning programs. The course also addresses the fundamental principles of planning, implementing, and evaluating training programs according to individual characteristics and specific performance goals.
