Objectives of the Course

The main aim of the course; a. Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) history, causes, classification, diagnosis, characteristics and deficiencies, b. Informing preschool teacher candidates about peer relationships and educational interventions for children with ADHD.

Course Content

1. ADHD history, causes, classification. 2. Diagnosis, characteristics and deficiencies of children with ADHD. 3. Educational approaches for children with ADHD (response to intervention). 4. Behavioral approaches developed for children with ADHD 5. Inclusion in children with ADHD and preschool education 6. Characteristics of the families of children with ADHD and cooperation with families
