The aim of this course is to equip students of the Faculty of Sport Sciences with fundamental knowledge and skills related to the sport of handball. The course covers both theoretical and practical aspects, starting with the history, basic rules, court dimensions, game structure, equipment use, and player positions. Students will develop practical competencies in fundamental techniques such as passing, shooting, dribbling, and performing offensive and defensive variations. Additionally, the course aims to enhance individual physical performance as well as foster teamwork, communication, and coordination abilities. Through a balanced approach that includes educational, recreational, and performance-oriented dimensions of handball, students will gain the ability to plan, organize, and evaluate handball training sessions. Ultimately, the course is designed to enable students to apply handball effectively in both academic and future professional contexts.
