Objectives of the Course

To learn Turkish folk dances and competition rules, to be able to make the figures of the local games. To be able to play and teach local games with music.

History of folk dances, examples of folk dances of various regions, popularization of folk dances.

1.Explains the historical background, cultural significance, and regional differences of Turkish folk dances.
2.Performs basic folk dance figures from various regions with correct technique and rhythm.
3.Demonstrates coordination, rhythm, and harmony in both individual and group folk dance practices.
4.Evaluates the recreational, social, and cultural functions of folk dances.
5.Develops the ability to teach and lead folk dance activities.
