Objectives of the Course

To enable individuals to plan physical activities for healthy living and recreational purposes by learning basic fitness principles, exercise programming methods and application skills to improve their physical fitness levels.

1.Explains the concept of fitness, its historical development, and its role within the context of recreation.
2.Identifies the components of physical fitness (cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, body composition, etc.) along with their scientific foundations.
3.Describes the physiological, psychological, and social effects of exercise and applies this knowledge to the planning of fitness programs.
4.Knows the development of Fitness and Bodybuilding in Turkey and around the world.
5.Can plan and implement basic fitness exercises that individuals can participate in during their free time and that support health and quality of life.
