Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of scientific research processes in the field of recreation, to enable them to analyze current developments, and to integrate these developments into professional practices. Students will develop critical thinking skills and gain the knowledge and tools necessary to generate recreation-based projects. The course also aims to broaden students’ vision by examining the impact of global trends on the recreation sector.

Course Content

The course covers scientific research methods in recreation, ethical principles, literature review, the effects of current technological and social developments on recreation, global trends, sustainability, digitalization, new media usage, and recreation-specific project development. Students will analyze current examples and deliver presentations supported by field-based practices
