Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to recognize various instructional methods and techniques used in the field of recreation, select appropriate approaches for different target groups, plan and manage applied instructional processes, and develop leadership, communication, and evaluation skills within teaching practices.

Teaching and learning approaches, teaching methods (narration, discussion, demonstration, case study, problem solving, individual work), visual and audio tools in teaching, planning of teaching activities

Learning Outcomes
1.Recognizes the basic concepts of teaching, the principles of learning and teaching, the importance and benefits of planned work in teaching, and the planning of teaching.
2.Knows learning and teaching strategies, teaching methods and techniques and their relationship with practice
3.Adapts contemporary and innovative teaching approaches (digital tools, creative drama, flipped learning, etc.) to recreation settings.
4.Prepares and structures instructional plans for recreational activities.
5.To be able to apply learning and teaching strategies
6.Teaches and implements a recreational activity effectively using different teaching methods and techniques.
