Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to introduce students to the basic disciplines of athletics (running, jumping, throwing), to provide technical knowledge, and to teach instructional methods for these disciplines through practical applications.

Course Content

Bu derste, atletizmin tarihçesi ve temel ilkeleri ile birlikte koşular, atmalar ve atlamalar gibi temel branşlar tanıtılır. Öğrencilere temel teknikler, kurallar ve öğretim yöntemleri teorik ve uygulamalı olarak öğretilir. Ayrıca performans ölçüm yöntemleri, temel antrenman bilgisi ve branşlara özgü öğretim stratejileri üzerinde durulur. Ders, bireysel performans gelişimi kadar eğitsel süreçlerde atletizmin kullanımı hakkında da bilgi sağlamayı hedefler.

1.to be able to use the steps on learning of the fundamental branches of athletism
2.Applies basic instructional methods related to athletics disciplines and adapts them to educational settings.
3.Uses performance measurement techniques in basic athletics activities to conduct evaluations.
4.Evaluates the contribution of athletics activities to individual and social development and proposes their integration into educational programs.
5.Being able to prepare for athletics competitions
