Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to equip students with the knowledge and skills to analyze the recreational needs of different target groups and to design, organize, and evaluate effective, inclusive, and sustainable recreation programs.

Course Content

Bu ders; rekreasyon programlamaya giriş, hedef kitle ve ihtiyaç analizi, amaç ve hedef belirleme, etkinlik planlama, bütçeleme, liderlik, kapsayıcılık, sürdürülebilirlik, değerlendirme süreçleri ve örnek program tasarımlarını kapsayan temel kuram ve uygulamaları içermektedir.

1.Knows the basic concepts of education and training.
2.Identifies the concept of recreation and the processes of program development.
3.Analyzes the recreational needs of different target groups.
4.Explains the stages of recreation program development and applies planning principles.
5.Designs program content including objectives, goals, activities, duration, and evaluation criteria.
6.Evaluates the feasibility and sustainability of the developed program.
7.Develops suitable recreational programs for diverse age groups, genders, disabilities, or socio-cultural backgrounds.
8.Acts with awareness of environmental, social, and ethical responsibilities during recreation program development
9.Presents the recreation programs he/she prepares effectively and presents them according to professional feedback.
