Objectives of the Course

This course aims to introduce students with the main commercial papers and the related laws.

Course Content

negotiable instruments concept under the negotiable instruments law, characteristics, evaluation and transfer of negotiable instruments , types of negotiable instruments, loss and annulment, Promissory notes, classification of bill of exchange, policy(bill), Bono, Cheque, legal nature and requirements form of the policy, Drawer's responsibility, Transfer, Acceptance and payment, applicant's rights, characteristics of bonds and cheques.

Week 1 - Theoretical
General information about the purpose and content of the course, giving information about the teaching method of the course, providing the course materials for students, general principles of the law of commercial papers
Week 2 - Theoretical
Classification of commercial papers, plea in commercial papers
Week 3 - Theoretical
Loss and termination of commercial papers, general principles of bills of exchange
Week 4 - Theoretical
Definiton, features, terms, content and deficiency provisions regarding bills of exchange and white policy
Week 5 - Theoretical
Adoption of bills of exchange and endorsement
Week 6 - Theoretical
Applicaiton and right of the bearer to payment in bills of exchange
Week 7 - Theoretical
Aval in bills of exchange, prescription, Fundamental obligation request-unjustifiable enrichmenttransfer of provisions
