Purpose
The four-year undergraduate program in Econometrics at Adnan Menderes University aims to provide students with a wide range of competence in economic theory and quantitative methods. The program focuses on the use of economic theory and provides the opportunity to learn econometric methodology as a whole or as tools for understanding, modeling and evaluating economic and political issues in society, particularly in sub-sectors. In the first year, students are taught basic knowledge of financial economics, including public finance. The focus of the program is on building analytical capacities rather than trying to cover all aspects of the field. To provide students with the necessary skills to create, use and criticize models used in finance, microeconomics and macroeconomics.

Nazilli Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences has 15 lecture halls, 8 classrooms, 2 computer laboratories with continuous internet connection, 1 library, 1 canteen, It has a student and staff dining hall and a total of 80 study rooms, 64 of which are allocated to academic staff. In addition, dormitories for boys and girls with a capacity of 500 students each, right next to the main building, serve under the Credit Dormitories Institution. The computer and internet infrastructure in the faculty has been designed to provide 24-hour service to academic and administrative staff through desktop and laptop computers in each study room; Uninterrupted access to academic scientific publications has been provided. The students were provided with the same opportunity with the help of the computer labs that were open during their education.
