Objectives of the Course

The main objective of this course is to address social change and transformation processes in the axis of media studies, to examine the identity policies that arise by adhering to space discourse. Discussions will be carried out from modernist theories to post-modernism, spatial and temporal progress in the framework of the outlines.

Course Content

Social transformation processes will be discussed on the axis of determining the location and especially the processes that the media transforms will be examined both in the historical context and under the influence of new Technologies.

1.Students will be able to evaluate and evaluate the concepts of modernism and post-modernism within the historical-social context.
2.Students will be able to analyze the transformative power of the media, depending on space and time.
3.Analyze the transformative power of media by adhering to space and time.
4.Students will be able to develop a critical approach to the way the media is represented in gender.
5.Develop an approach to identity representation under the headings of memory, social memory and social memory.
