Objectives of the Course

Teaching the concept of folklore and examining the transition periods (birth-child-marriage and death), which is one of the folklore subjects, within the framework of Turkish culture.

Course Content

In general, the purpose and subjects of folklore in this course; past, present, problems and sources of folklore; folklore research techniques and tools; transition periods will be announced.
