Objectives of the Course

Presenting information on developing new ideas, preparing a business plan, starting a business, growing a business

Course Content

Entrepreneurship concepts and approaches, Entrepreneurship process, Idea generation, Feasibility analysis, Business plan and strategy, Organization design, Building a new business team, Financing, Protection of intellectual property, Implementation of new business plans, Innovation and change in organizations, Creating new markets, Operational challenges and opportunities, Development and management of family businesses, Life cycle in family businesses, Management transfer plan and transition to professional management, Examples of success and failure in entrepreneurship.

1.To be able to define the concept of entrepreneurship and its types in its historical development within the framework of entrepreneurship theory.
2.Raise awareness of ways to foster personal and corporate innovation and creativity
3.Distinguish the different aspects of SME management and problems from Big Business management and problems
4.Ability to prepare a business plan for starting a new business
5.Can follow current publications on entrepreneurship and make critical evaluations of them
