Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide students with; To teach the tests and applications used in the sports physiology laboratory.

Exercise and energy. Calculation of energy consumption of aerobic and anaerobic exercises.

Efficiency and Economics concepts and calculations.
Week 5 - Theoretical
Exercise areas.
Week 6 - Theoretical
Aerobic threshold concept.
Week 7 - Theoretical
Anaerobic threshold concept.

Critical speed/power concepts. Mathematical models and interm evaluation.

Relationship with physiological and metabolic threshold types.

Respiration compensation point.

Vigorous exercise field and VO2max concept.

The first workload yielding VO2max and the highest workload yielding VO2max.
