Objectives of the Course

It is aimed that the student will understand the psychological basis of economic behavior, learn the factors in decision making, learn about behavioral decision models, and analyze the standard economic theory by combining it with psychologically reasonable assumptions on behavior.

Course Content

The relationship of psychology with economics and economic behavior in particular, mental shortcuts in decision making, the role of expectations in behavior and economics, and the relationship of the brain with economics will be examined.
