Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to give a historic and theoric background in women movement in global politics.

Course Content

Within the integrity of the program, women's rights and gender theories and the analysis of the concept of gender shaped in different societies will be evaluated through general political theory.

1.Having knowledge of interdisciplinary interaction related to the field of Political Science and mastering the literature on the field
2.Ability to reach original results by using expert knowledge in analyzing and evaluating new and complex ideas
3.To be able to produce original social science products by using quantitative and/or qualitative methods in the field of Political Science
4.Ability to apply an established theory, method or practice related to the field of Political Science to a different field
5.Ability to critically analyze new and complex ideas in the field of Political Science
6.Ability to contribute to progress in the field by independently developing an original study
7.The ability to expand the boundaries of knowledge in the field by publishing a scientific article related to the field in national or international peer-reviewed journals or by producing an original work
8.Ability to develop new ideas and methods in the field of Political Science and use these tools to solve problems in interdisciplinary studies.
