Objectives of the Course

In this course, it is aimed to provide information about the birth of the idea of international organization, types of international organizations, and especially organizations having a key role in the global arena such as the EU, the United Nations and NATO.

Course Content

The international organizations introduced in this course range from the Ancient Greek establishments to the United Nations, from the European Union to the African Union, from the Bretton Woods institutions to the Amnesty International. Due to its scope and importance, the workings and the performance of the UN, as well as regionalist trend of international organizations are among the highlights of this course.
