Objectives of the Course

The Digital Society course aims to provide information about the history of the digital revolution and the tools that will enable us to better understand the impact of digitalization on today's society, culture and politics. Thus, it aims to contribute to shaping the digital transformations of tomorrow.

Course Content

Within the scope of the Digital Society course, conceptual analysis of the terms "digital transformation" and "digital society", digital technologies, digital rights and responsibilities, e-Government, privacy and data security, digital citizenship and e-Democracy, opportunities and challenges faced by digital societies, future scenarios (digital utopias and dystopias) will be discussed.
