Objectives of the Course

To learn all the steps of qualitative research methods and their applications on computers.

The steps of qualitative research, use of theory, data collection, data analysis on computer, interpretation and reporting of results

1.Knows the theoretical foundations of Qualitative and Quantitative Research and compares them in terms of research process.
2.Selects the qualitative research design suitable for the purpose of the research.
3.Applies qualitative research methods in order to find an answer to the research problem.
4.Knows/applies the features of data collection techniques (observation, interview, discusses the validity and reliability of qualitative research, determines validity and reliability in their studies) and data analysis techniques (content analysis-descriptive analysis) in qualitative research.
5.Discusses the validity and reliability of qualitative research, determines the validity and reliability in their studies.
6.Interprets analyzes made with Nvivo or Maxdata software.
