Objectives of the Course

The primary way to reach true information and shed light on an existing issue is through a correct and ethical research. Within the scope of this course, public opinion and public opinion research will be examined through a close lens, historical processes and changes will be analyzed. In addition, the importance of mass media on public opinion will be emphasized, effective methods will be discussed, and the relationship between the press and public opinion will be examined. From determining the topics of research types to the preparation of a survey, an interactive process will take place with the students in practice in the course. Elements such as the importance of planning and working with experts in a research team will also be included.

Course Content

Within the scope of this course, public opinion and public opinion research will be examined through a close lens, historical processes and changes will be analyzed. In addition, the importance of mass media on public opinion will be emphasized, effective methods will be discussed, and the relationship between the press and public opinion will be examined.
