Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to examine intervention programs for developmental problems and to ensure that students reach the level of knowledge and competence to carry out studies on developing, implementing and testing developmental intervention programs.

Course Content

Within the scope of the course, information about developmental intervention models, theoretical infrastructures and implementation processes of these intervention programs will be learned.

1.Students completing the course establish a relationship between theoretical knowledge in developmental psychology and intervention programs.
2.Students completing the course are proficient in the research methods used in developmental intervention studies. They can critically evaluate publications conducted using these methods, design intervention research, and test the effectiveness of the intervention.
3.Students completing the course plan developmental intervention programs effectively within the framework of professional ethics and have the skills to implement these programs.
4.Students completing the course focus on determining goals suitable for the individual needs of children, monitoring and evaluating intervention processes, collaborating with families, and ensuring the flexibility and appropriateness of the programs.
5.Students completing the course combine acquired knowledge with information from other fields and subfields.
