Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to provide information and practice about techniques and approaches used in measurement of neuropsychological and cognitive processes, its new developments and applications.

Course Content

Neuropsychology methods and approaches, main cognitive functions and experimental and clinical applications of neuropsychology will be examined. How brain damage affects certain cognitive, perceptual, emotional and motor functions and neuropsychological tests used in the evaluation of cognitive functions such as attention, perception, memory, language and executive functions will be introduced and their applications will be made.

1.Knows the basic rules and standardization processes of neuropsychological testing applications.
2.Can use basic neuropsychological testing tools and equipment.
3.Can evaluate and interpret various cognitive functions in adults.
4.Can guide diagnosis and treatment processes using neuropsychological tests.
5.Can guide and evaluate rehabilitation methods using neuropsychological assessment skills.
