Objectives of the Course

The aim of this course is to enable students to discuss approaches, theories and issues related to industrial/organisational (I/O) psychology, and to learn about the methods and techniques developed in this field. Students will gain the basic knowledge and practical skills needed to produce knowledge and conduct applications in this area.

Course Content

The course includes theoretical discussions of E/O psychology in relation to job motivation and satisfaction, leadership, teamwork and organisational change. It also covers techniques for job analysis, job placement, personnel selection, performance appraisal and change management, as well as their application in different work contexts.

1.Know the theoretical approaches and debates in the main topics of I/O psychology.
2.Know and apply the methods and techniques used to produce knowledge in the field of I/O Psychology.
3.Know and has the ability to carry out the main applications carried out by I/O psychologists in the workplace.
4.Have a basic knowledge of other applied fields within the scope of I/O psychology.
5.Know process management in communication, conflict resolution, teams in the work environment.
