Objectives of the Course

It aims to enable clinical psychology specialization students to learn some concepts and theoretical approaches that will help them understand the individual in relation to the social environment, by comparing the way individual psychology and social psychology deal with the individual, and to form an opinion on how they can use these in their handling of the individual.

Course Content

The relationship between social psychology and clinical psychology; social cognitive structuring of reality, self, identity, impression formation, causal predicates, social roles, beliefs, life satisfaction, social support, happiness.

1.Distinguishes the differences in the perspectives of social psychology and clinical psychology.
2.It uses the perspective of social and clinical psychology when considering the individual.
3.Knows the concepts of social cognition and uses them when dealing with the individual.

5.Understands the social nature of emotions.
6.Knows and explains the relationship between interpersonal relationships and mental health problems.
