Objectives of the Course

The teaching of principles about broiler nutrition. Adopting basic issues about broiler nutrition with theoretical and practice sessions. Teaching basic information about poultry diseases. Teaching basic nutrition principles and feeding techniques about broiler. Adopting of importance of proper nutrition for production, health, and quality of product for economic livestock farming. Teaching of the relation between nutrition and the quality of animal products.

Course Content

Nutrient requirements of broiler. Nutrition of commercial broiler and brood. Feeding practice. Diseases of chickens, immunizations, hatchery yield, relation of environmental factors and nutrition. Most common feeds for poultry nutrition and practical ration samples.
