Objectives of the Course

This course will enable the student to acquire the ability to apply storage and inventory management in international trade and customs transactions.

Course Content

International trade and customs clearance processes, warehouse types and physical characteristics, warehouse location selection, shelving systems, equipment used in the warehouse, the importance and function of the warehouse in logistics, stock control methods, JIT and Kanban approach, the importance of stock control in logistics
