Objectives of the Course

To critically examine the main themes of human thought and philosophy in the modern and contemporary period and to provide a foundation for graduate students who will study philosophy.

Course Content

Renaissance Philosophy, Descartes, Spinoza, Kant, Neo-Kantianism, Hegel, Analytical Philosophy, Contemporary debates and solutions in philosophy.
