Objectives of the Course

In this course, the emergence of sociology, its subject and method, the lives, works and thoughts of classical and modern sociologists, and the nature of today's sociological studies are examined.

Course Content

The birth of the science of sociology, the views of classical and contemporary sociologists, social institutions, contemporary issues and problems are discussed.
