Objectives of the Course

In today, improvement of cultivation techniques (irigation, spraying and fertilization) has increased productivity, however it also has been resulted in difficulties of control of vegetative development. Tackling of this problem is possible to using winter and summer prunning techniques and proper selection of trellis systems. In this course, the effects of this applications will be discussed with each grape consumption types (raisin, wine, table grape consumptions).

Course Content

the importance of quality of Table and vine grapes, making summer and winter pruning techniques, prevalent using trellis systems in Turkey and World. to account of the leaf areas of vines, Point Quadrat method.
