Objectives of the Course

In viticulture practises, to success in cultivation techniques such as irrigtion, fertilization, spraying and winter pruning and summer pruning depends on application in the best time with proper techniques. Knowledgement and development of proper techniques need beter understanding of vine physiology beside the vine anatomy. In this consideration, this course will be covered root, vegetatve development, flower physiology

Course Content

plant cell and its structure seed dormancy and germination, seed germination tests, cold stratification, root growrh and development physiology, vegetative growth and development physiology, phenology, flower cluster formation physiology, the effects of environmental factors on cluster formation, estimation of productivity, flower physiology.
