Objectives of the Course

Providing students with the skill of applying statistical methods in solving farm management and marketing problems. Parametric and non-parametric methods are used for practicing statistical data on agriculture . Analyzing the relationship between two or more variables.

Course Content

Sampling distributions, sample size and sampling methods, Hypothesis tests, analysis of variance, chi-square analysis, Mann-Whitney analysis, Kruskall Wallis analysis, indexes, computer applications, agricultural management and agricultural policy will be carried out with ready data sets. Developing the skills of analyzing and interpreting survey and trial design data with econometric methods.
