Objectives of the Course

The main aim of this course is to provide to students gaining sufficient knowledge on analysis of Turkey economy considering macro indicators, assessment of conjuncture and economy politics, climate change, food safety, food security, prica volatility that will be effected agricultural production at macro and micro level.

Course Content

Investigation of Turkey economy with multidimensional perspectives, synthesizing of the role and circumstance of agricultural production placed in the country’s economy, and also making some implications directed toward future scenarios.

1.To be able to gain information on Turkey economy historically during the period from Republic to present time,
2.To be able to acquire information on important sectors constituting of Turkey economy,
3.To be able to make a comment on relationships and economic operations between Turkey and European Union,
4.To be able to make some implications on cause and effect relations between agricultural production and Turkey economy,
5.To be able to gain information and make critical implications on parameters effected agricultural production and effecting of those parameters on value added created in the country
