Objectives of the Course

the course aims to provide the students fundamental statistical knowledge to make experimental designs and analyse statistical observational and research data using statistical software

Course Content

Descriptive statistics, SAS or SPSS statistical software, simple and multiple regressions, one-way and multiple-way analysis of variance, completely randomize design, block design, latin square and split plot experimental designs

1.to be able to acquire the basic information on the application of statistics.
2.to be able to recognize how to use at least one statistical package
3.to be able to define the experimental designs in agricultural research
4.to be able to acquire experiences about making experimental designs and conducting experiments
5.to be able to acquire experiences about collecting, organizing data for statistical analysis
6.to be able to acquire experiences about analyzing research data
7.to be able to acquire experiences about interpreting statistical results and making decision for future plans
