Objectives of the Course

The purpose of this course is to distribute and make available information on the processing and making of value bee producs. In this way to provide the possibilities for all beekeeping products.

Introduction to bee products, the importance of bee products for the colony, the general situation of bee products in the world and in our country.

Collection and processing of nectar by worker bees, physical and chemical properties of honey

Comparison of physical and chemical properties of flower and secretion honeys, monofloral honey, multifloral honeys
Week 4 - Theoretical
Honey harvest, processing and storage, quality control of honey, areas of use of honey
Week 5 - Theoretical
Collection and processing of pollen by worker bees, pollen harvesting and preservation
