Objectives of the Course

Introduction to Energy and its units, importance of energy for livestocks, energy metabolism in animal body, energy looses, energy units that are used for calculation of energy requirements of animals

Course Content

Measurement of changes in body energy, energy use in the organism, parts of the energy gained and lost from feeds, methods for determining the energy values of feeds
