Objectives of the Course

The aim of course is to teach the importance of animal husbandry, the share of animal husbandry in agricultural production, species and breed concepts, production traits of livestock, the mechanism of adaptation to the environment of the animals

Course Content

The importance and functions of animal husbandry, domesticating methods, species and breed concepts, the occurrence and classification of breeds, the characteristics, production traits, environmental factors and the mechanism of adaptation to environment.

1.to know the importance of animal production and its role in country economy
2.to know the characteristics of breeds and to do classification of the breeds
3.to know the mechanism of production traits in livestock
4.to know the effects of environmental conditions on the production traits of livestock and to do the necessary organization in this situation.
5.to know the mechanism of adaptation to environment of livestock to direct the breeders on this issue.
