Objectives of the Course

The purpose of the course is to be able to tell about the interactions in between the molecules in living organisms.

Course Content

Intramolecular & intermolecular forces, atomic & molecular orbital, absorption spectroscopy and molecular structure, thermodynamic properties of biological molecules, irreversible & open systems, information theory, biophysical measurements, structure and properties of proteins, enzyme action, structure and properties of nucleic acids, and molecular aspects of important biological systems.
