Objectives of the Course

The purpose of the course is to be able to tell about the working principle of lasers and the use of lasers in medicine

Course Content

Nature of light, light emission and absorption, principles of laser action, characteristics of gas lasers, organic dye lasers, solid state lasers, and laser applications.
