Objectives of the Course

This course aims to improve the skills of the students at the area of Women's Health and Diseases Nursing and Perinotology Nursing enable them to evaluate women’s health care needs and give care.

Course Content

Pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum periods and follow-up of women with gynecological problems and maintenance skills.

1.To be able to take care of women with gynecological problems
2.To be able to give care to women in pre-term birth
3.To be able to assess prenatal maternal and fetal health
4.To be able to manage the care of normal birth during labor
5. To be able to evaluate normal maternal and fetal / neonatal health
6.To be able to give-term care for the mother and baby after birth
7.To be able to apply interdisciplinary interaction on women's health and diseases
8.To be able to comprehend and interpret women's health and diseases by integrating information from different disciplines and create new approach
9. To be able to develop solutions to problems which are nationally and internationally women's health and diseases
10. To be able to behave appropriately in terms of social, scientific, cultural and ethical values in women's health and disease
