This course aims to improve the skills of the students at the area of Birth, Women Health and Diseases Nursing and enable them to evaluate women’s health care needs and to give care, to give education and counseling services in order to maintain and improve the women’s health by using the knowledge gathered at the area of Birth, Women Health and Diseases Nursing with a holistic approach.
This course aims that students make practices in relation of their knowledge they gained at the Birth, the Women's Health and Medical Nursing I, II and Perinatal Nursing courses. It is expected that students prepare nursing process for labor and risky pregnancies, evaluate NST, use and interpret partograph for labor they follow-up and manage, and prepare reports for clinical practices.
