Objectives of the Course

To have knowledge about academic writing types (articles, thesis, papers, books) and to create sample texts. To understand the differences between scientific papers and to learn the steps in creating such articles.

Course Content

The origins of scientific writing, the stages of writing articles and theses, identifying topics, accessing resources, writing language and terminology, academic vocabulary, rules of quoting, ethical issues, awareness of plagiarism, having knowledge about academic environment
