The students who have successfully completed a minimum of 21 local credits from thought courses delivered within the graduate programme of the department and in related fields, achieved a CGPA of at least 70 out of 100 and prepared and successfully defended a thesis are given Master Degree in Social Studies.

Students in the programme who have completed at least one semester at a graduate program in an equivalent institute of any higher education institution can be accepted to graduate programs

Students who have successfully completed the program take the degree of master and get certificate in Social Studies area.

The applicants who hold a Bachelor's Degree and willing to enroll in the Master's programme may apply to the Directorate of the Graduate School with the documents: 1-Sufficient score (at least 55 out of 100) from the Academic Staff and Graduate Study Education Exam (ALES) conducted by Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM).

student who is currently enrolled in a Master's Degree programme successfully completed at least one semester, upon submitting all required documents before the deadline, may transfer to the programme.

The aim of the graduate program in Social Studies Teacher Education of the Ministry of National Education in schools and will serve private and public as well as the training of teachers in terms of both content knowledge is to help them develop the scientific sense.

Master of Social Studies Teacher education graduates also work in primary schools under the Ministry of National Education in the field of social studies education degree programs can be employed as a research assistant.

Graduates who successfully completed the Master's Degree may apply to doctorate (third cycle) programmes in the same or in related disciplines.
