Objectives of the Course

Dersin temel amacı, yaratıcılık, yaratıcılık süreçleri ve yaratıcılığı geliştirici süreçler konusunda bilgilendirme, yaratıcılığı geliştirici yöntemlere örnekler vermektir. Dersin sonunda öğrenciden bu konularda teorik ve pratik bilgi sahibi olması beklenecektir

Course Content

Definition and meaning of the creativity and creativity processes. Methods and techniques to improve creativity in children; story method, resemblance and game method, drama method, brainstorming method, artistic methods and discovery method. Factors affecting creativity. Improvement of creativity and creativity education in student centered education.

Learning Outcomes
1.Students will provide families, teachers and others with guidance in creativity and its development.
2.Students will investigate preventive factors of creativity in children and make some applications to remove them.
3.Students will assess the development of creativity in preschool children.
4.Students will develop and apply activities that encourage creativity in preschool children.
5.Students define the basic concepts and theories about creativity and explain relationships between creativity and other thinking skills.
