Objectives of the Course

The main aim of the study is to explain the relationship between drama and education, effects of drama in early childhood, exemplification of drama activities. At the end of the course, students are expected to have both theoretical and practical information about mentioned areas. Preparation of drama plan, administering it and evaluation.

Course Content

Basic concepts about drama, history of drama in education, discussing the effects of drama on child’s developmental areas, methods used in drama, sample activities showing relationship between drama and game, short story, story, photograph, painting, poem and dance. Preparing sample drama plans.
